Ivo Lakerveld is a former Executive Director of ABN AMRO and the founder of ABN AMRO’s proprietary distressed debt investment activities. He was with ABN AMRO since 1983 and is well regarded in the stressed/distressed debt arena having been associated in this market spectrum throughout his professional life. Following a 5 year stint in the domestic (Dutch) workout team “Financial Restructuring and Recovery group”, Mr. Lakerveld joined the International workout team in 1988. Subsequently, he has spent 5 years in Singapore as the Regional head of the workout group during the Asian crisis of 1997. This has allowed for a deep understanding of the Asia Pacific and Sub Continental business, mindset and behavioral patterns of players in the stressed/distressed market space.

Tido van Wieringen is a former Senior Vice President of ABN AMRO and was with ABN AMRO since 1996 where he has held various positions in global debt capital markets and structured finance in Amsterdam and New York. From 2004 to 2008, Mr. van Wieringen  worked in ABN AMRO’s proprietary distressed debt investment team, sourcing, structuring, excecuting and exiting pre-restructuring debt transactions in multiple European and non-European jurisdictions. Mr. van Wieringen holds a Masters Degree in International Financial Economics from the University of Amsterdam.
